Join Jordan in her loft studio.
Jordan’s new loft studio, located in the heart of Manotick, provides a brilliant space for exploring Jordan’s work. It also serves as a meeting place, retreat, and workshop space.
Throughout the year, Jordan will be offering seasonally inspired courses and workshops in craft, art, and writing. The studio is meant to be a place of inspiration and rejuvenation.

Introducing: Private pARTy Sessions at the Studio!
Book your private pARTy with us! Our pARTies can include up to 6 participants of all ages. Your pARTy will take place in our lovely working artist's studio in Manotick. A two-hour session of creating art or crafts with your favourite people! Soda, bottled water, and herbal tea are provided. Guests are welcome to bring snacks that suit their dietary needs.
OPTIONAL: You can add on a s'mores and campfire option for an additional hour after the crafting session! Sit in our picturesque backyard under towering basswood trees around a campfire pit, and enjoy roasting some marshmallows and eating melty s'mores!

Seasonal Clay Nite: LED Candle Holder One Night Session*
Learn how to make a seasonal tea light holder using air dry clay! This piece will make a great gift or addition to your festive centrepiece. Jordan will guide you through a template but students are encouraged to explore the clay and get creative. NOTE: the sample template provide may differ from the photo used here.

Craft Play Nite: Illustrated Earrings
Relax, let go, and PLAY! Craft play nites encourage adults to engage with classic crafting materials to create elevated crafts. This workshop teaches students to create a pair of hand-drawn earrings to enjoy or gift for the holiday season. We’ll be using the classic shrinking plastic media commonly called Shrinky Dinks! NOTE: The design of your earrings can be anything—this photo is just an example.

Writer’s Circle: Biweekly meetups
This biweekly gathering invites writers of all experience levels to stretch their brains and shake out the writer’s block! Meet up for an evening with other writers to participate in fun writing prompts, and to talk through challenges in the work you’re creating. A great way to keep motivated through NaNoWriMo and beyond.
Every second Tuesday from 7-9pm | Register for each session individually | Ages 18 - 99

Monthly Vision Session
This is your chance to reset, pivot, and restart! Each month Jordan offers a visioning session where participants are guided through an exercise to help set intentions and a 'vision’ (plan’) for the month—and beyond. After the hour-long session, the studio space will remain open to all participants for the rest of the evening as a quite working space. Bring your planner, your notebook, your laptop, your sketchbook…and spend a couple hours distraction-free so you can reset yourself for the month ahead.

What to Expect at Danger Creative Studio:
Classes are small.
We only allow 4-6 students per class. This gives you maximum teaching attention.
We support queer and trans people.
Jordan spent a decade advocating for LGBTTQIA+ rights, and encourages all people to join us.
Masks are mandatory.
For the protection of vulnerable students, masks are still required. A small price to pay so we can include our neighbours in the fun.
There are stairs.
The loft studio is upstairs. If you are disabled and wish to participate, rest assured we will have first-floor workshops in the spring and summer.
We have studio dogs.
We have 2 small studio dogs who will probably participate. If you have a fear or severe allergies please let us know.
There is art to buy.
You are welcome to purchase any of Jordan’s art that is on display in the studio!

Explore the world of illustration! Learn how to use pen and ink to create expressive images in a variety of styles. You don’t have to be an artist: this course will help beginner and intermediate artists to find their own drawing style! Bring examples of your favourite illustrators and Jordan will walk you through the techniques they use.

Start Your Own Grimoire—FULL UNTIL NEW YEAR
A Grimoire is a spellbook or tome of magical knowledge. Join Jordan and begin your own grimoire. Jordan will guide you in filling it with wisdom you’ve gathered on your own journey: your favourite home remedies, self-care techniques, and rituals for creativity. Your pages will be a mix of art and writing!

Teen Journalling—SOLD OUT, EMAIL FOR WAITLIST
Journalling can be a powerful tool for self-expression, healing, and pathfinding. Teens will be encouraged to discover their own form of journalling: artistic, written, guided, or a combination thereof. Facilitator Jordan Danger spent 10 years as a Social Service Worker, working with youth; her experience gives her greater insight into the needs of young journallers.

Seasonal Clay Nite: Winter Village one-night workshop*
SOLD OUT—EMAIL FOR WAITLIST, WE MAY OFFER A SECOND SESSION!
Play with clay and make a festive village! Work with Jordan and learn to create a miniature village using self-hardening clay. Students will create 3-5 village houses that can then be arranged on a mantel, adhered to a wreath, or hung on the tree.
